The Wallace Memorial History Room will be closed beginning April 20, 2026. Estimated duration of the closure is about 6 weeks. We will forward updates as we receive them from the city work crews.

The closure means that access to the materials in the room (such as books, microfilm, family histories, city directories, and history files) will be severely limited; however, our archives room will remain open to our authorized volunteers so they can continue their research and preservation work. Our phone number will still remain active during the closure, and we will be checking for voicemail messages regularly.
